Personal Statement
Soccer is my passion. What separates me from other athletes is that I know I have to keep working hard and practicing plus, I have to compete against and play with other top soccer teams/players to improve. The better the competition the more I improve. I love the challenge of finding better players to hone my skills. I have always been able to work my way up to being a starter and a leader on my teams. For instance, I worked hard, played hard and constantly practiced to be selected for the Olympic Development pool for Region III 2013-2014. Also as a starter for my high school varsity team my freshman year. I know I have done well, but I feel my teammates are a better judge of my skills and character. It would be better to ask them about my abilities.
As far as my academics, I put the same effort into my studies. I may not always be the top student, but I am always well above-average. I love all sorts of history, I find it fascinating, but I also like teaching younger kids about soccer and how to do things properly. I want to be either a coach or a physical trainer.
I was taught from an early age that desire, dedication, and determination make a great soccer player, but it also makes for a great way of life. I can do what ever I set out to do.
