I am 100% committed to playing college soccer. I want to be a part of a college program where I will be an asset to my team. I am not a selfish player. I understand what teamwork is. I train hard and I play even harder. I currently play at the highest club level in North Texas in Classic League Division I. I am the starting LB on my Dallas Texans Club Team. I am also the starting LB on my Varsity High School team. This is the position I have held as both a Freshman, Sophomore and Junior and now a Senior. My team is the current TAPPS 4A State Champion for 2011, 2012 and 2013. I received All State 1st Team honors in 2013 and All State 2nd Team honors in 2012. I received All District 1st Team Honors in 2013 and 2012 and All District 2nd Team honors in 2011. I have been playing soccer since the age of 5. In 2012 I trained with the American Eagles USL Super 20 Team. I am looking to be challenged academically as well. I hope to play at a school rich with traditions. Soccer is my passion and I can't imagine not playing.
As an athlete, I feel very blessed to have the opportunity to play soccer. I feel equally blessed to give back. Community service has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Having attended Grapevine Faith Christian School for the past 11 years, I have been given many opportunities to offer my time in the community. I also volunteer thru the Panda Cup Foundation. An organization that brings together elite soccer teams with special need's athletes through soccer and community outreach. The Panda Cup Foundation partners with Non Profit Organizations such as Scottish Rite Hospital, Special Olympics, Homeless Programs and International Amputee Outreach Programs.
Along with my fellow club players, we have been given the opportunity to play soccer all over the world. These trips have been life changing experiences where I have the opportunity to impact the life of someone else in a positive way. To me, making a difference, whether it is with a teammate, a family member or a stranger is one of the most rewarding examples of leadership a person can accomplish. I have traveled internationally playing tournaments and good will games in Canada, England, France and Scotland I have traveled and played in many top US Tournaments including Disney and Dallas Cup.
