I attend Judge Memorial Catholic High school in Salt Lake City,Utah which is an academically challenging college preparatory school. My favorite subjects are history and science. I started playing soccer at age four and it is my hope to continue to play soccer at the collegiate level. I have played Division 1 and Premier soccer for the past 8 years and have started for my high school team for the past three years on either the JV or Varsity teams, lettering the last two years. I also played AAU basketball and played for my high school basketball team for two years before deciding to dedicate my time to playing soccer. One of the most important things to know about me is that I work very hard on and off of the soccer field. I believe that it is my responsibility to be at every practice as that is where the hard work, teaching and learning takes place. I am fast, competitive, and fearless and can run down a forward should I or a teammate miss a tackle. I never give up on a play until the ball is dead. II am often fouled by frustrated forwards when I repeatedly deny them the ball. I play center defender for my club team and outside back on my high school team. As a center defender it is my responsibility to see the field, direct the defense, and make the keepers job easy. I take it personally if we get scored on and work to make sure it doesn't happen again. In addition to athletics and school, I am a volunteer coach for my nieces recreational soccer team and participate in my parishes youth group. I also serve my parish as a Sunday school aide. I work on the weekends and during the summer on my family's cattle ranch. I strive to be a good role model for the kids, a good teammate, son and friend.
