Joseph Ennas '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a defensive player with a great ability to read the offensive attack. My speed allows me to catch up and shut down offensive players that are offsides or have broken through the backline.  My height and agility allow me to intercept corner kicks, set pieces and 50-50 balls in the air before they can ever become a threat.  Both on the run and on set piece, I am good at distributing the long ball and crossing the field.

I believe in hard work, discipline, and dedication. Throughout the years, those beliefs have led me to compete and perform well in high level tournaments around the U.S. such as the Dallas Cup, Jefferson Cup, Disney Showcase as well as playing internationally in France at the Tournoi International De Guerledan Tournament. I have been a team captain for both my club and high school for several years, so I know the importance of communication to my teammates. I value teamwork -  a flowing team is hard to beat. My travel elite team has set records for the Richmond Strikers Club over the past few years by taking home Championship titles playing in the highest brackets in the Jefferson Cup, VDA Invitational and Ultimate Cup along with multiple league and VA State Cup titles.
