2013 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My name is Richard Caley Powers but I go by Caley. Although soccer is my passion, I am a well-rounded athlete. I also compete for my high school in cross country in the fall and swimming in the winter (soccer in the spring), making it to state in both sports. I play soccer year-round with my club team in addition to participating in all three high school sports seasons. I am not afraid to work hard in order to achieve high results. I take constructive instruction well and immediately attempt to apply the advice.
I take my academics very seriously and manage to complete homework assignments, even when my days consist of two sports practices after school, plus work and volunteering. I take advanced classes in English, History, Math, and Spanish. I am also studying Sports Medicine in preparation for my anticipated study of Physical Therapy in college.
I can offer a team leadership, hard work, and drive. I always work hard and am the last person to give up on a game. It is my dream to play in college and professionally.
