Soccer has always been a big part of my life. Being born in Brazil makes me a soccer player at heart. Living and playing soccer in Germany, Italy, Brazil in the USA has helped me learn and adapt to all different styles of coaching, players and games. My family and I lived in many different countries and this has taught me how to adjust and appreciate different people and situations. It has helped me in my life as well as in sports. I appreciate my supportive family that has always been by my side and encouraged me to follow my dreams, and one of these dreams is to continue playing soccer.
My participation in soccer teams started at the age of six and it includes being the team captain to being a trusted player that my team mates always look for when they need someone to step in and make a difference. This reflects on how I live my life, always trying my best in everything I do. I was selected for the second all-conference team and had honorable mention in the all area team this year, which is a wonderful accomplishment for someone who moved to Wisconsin about a year ago. The traveling team I played for won the state competition this year as well and I am proud to have participated in this achievement. I also played tennis for the first time last year and our varsity doubles team was the highest scoring one in our school. Our indoor soccer team has won three of the three tournaments we played so far. I have also played volleyball (two times champion) and basketball at my previous school. Seeing my efforts bring me such great results is one of the best feelings in the world.
