Winning back to back conference titles for my high school soccer team has made a big impact on how I perceive soccer. Soccer has shaped me as a person on and off the field. Even though our team did not win the state title I realize that winning state doesn't make you a better soccer player. Only you can make yourself a better soccer player and prepare yourself for the college level. I have developed the ability to be able to use either my left or right foot with equal strength and efficiency. I use my size to my advantage to get to every ball first and make smart decisions with the ball. As a striker, I do whatever I can to push a step closer to scoring a goal. Soccer is not an individual sport. It takes team work, effort, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership to be a strong player. That is what I rely on to make myself the best player that I can be and to prepare myself for the next level of my soccer career. I know this will set me aside from other players and make a big impact on your program. As self-determined and hard working as I am, I know I have what it takes to be the stand out player you need to make a significant impact on your team.
