Personal Statement

I've played the game of soccer since I was seven years old, when I joined the local youth league. Completely raw to the game of soccer, it surprisingly came naturally. I haven't looked back since then. I played within the local youth league until my eighth grade year of middle school. I didn't join my high school team until my sophomore year because I played football. The first high school soccer game I started, I instantly became a leader on the defensive end of the game. I stepped up to keep a solid flow of communication throughout the team. Since then I became a starter in every game and an essential part of the team.

As a player I'm always looking to learn something new in order to become better. I'm a very determined, dedicated, hard worker. I can be a leader who pushes others to do better and enhance their skills. I stay competitive at everything I do and always look to excel past my competitors. I'll always push myself as far as I possibly can to achieve success.  All of these characteristics  are inspired by my own mother.  She is my hero and has always pushed me to be great. She works extremely hard everyday in order to provide me with the greatest opportunities and always guarantees me the best.

My primary goal for my college education is to major in Political Science or Communication and begin my journey to hopefully becoming a Congressman.  After my four years of majoring in Political Science or Communication and studying U.S. government, I plan to earn a law degree. I have the desire to become involved in politics, hopefully to campaign and become a Congressman.  It's a dream I've had for several years now, that was inspired by my mom.  Just recently I attended a meeting honoring Ambassadors for Justice, where I was a specially accepted ambassador. This past year I flew to Washington D.C. to view the city and tour the White House which was an amazing experience. It pushed me to want to be successful as a politician.  I'm looking for a college that can educate me so I may be successful.  I look to find a college in which to pursue my future journey as well as soccer team that I can become a part of and enjoy while I attend college.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
