Personal Statement
I am excited to attend college and anticipate these years to be a personal growth period for both academics and athletics. I look forward to getting the added training and skill that I need on the field while pursuing my academic career. My goal is to explore a health science major that will provide me the necessary knowledge to go on to be a Physical Therapist. On the field, I plan to be a dynamic player and positive influence on the team as I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college soccer career. I will strive to be an asset to the soccer team, as I am a true workhorse and will always give one hundred percent of my self to be the best at whatever is thrown my way.
I am also what you would consider a "military brat" traveling all over the world and having to move often which included living abroad in England for 7 years. I have had to transfer three times during my high school career, however, I believe this to be an asset and not a hinderance which afforded me opportunity to meet, integrate, and play with amazing athletes all over the United States and England. Each new team I was able to establish myself as a key player and leader on the field and is what I feel to be one of my greatest assets, being flexible and adaptable.
Most importantly, I will commit and conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches, my family and the school I attend.
