Personal Statement
Throughout my career as student-athlete, I have always put the student part before the athlete. Education has always been my number one priority even though swimming is one of the quintessential parts of my life. As a person, I rely on hard work and teamwork to achieve success. I believe that progress can only be achieved with discomfort along with people helping one another pushing, guiding, and learning together is the key to accomplishment. I am looking for the right school that provides the right atmosphere, opportunity, and resources to pursue my aspirations while also putting a great swimming program with the right coaching staff and teammates. In a college swimming program, I am looking for a coach that understands my skills and weaknesses, challenges me everyday no matter what, and molds me into my full potential.
