Personal Statement
My name is Kristopher Kerr, I am a 6'0, 180 pound, sprint swimmer from Broomfield, Colorado. I recently trained with the Samoan Swim Team, in Apai Samoa, competing in the South Pacific regional meets. I will complete my Sr. year and plan to graduate in 2014 from the top nationally ranked high school, Peak to Peak Charter school. I have nine years of club swimming experience and have multiple state titles and records in both back stroke and breast stroke events. I would like to swim in college and be an active part of the team, racing to support the college's goals.
Geographically I am very open to all parts of the country. I would like to be known to the professors and to be sure to develop a good working relationship with them, so smaller class sizes are very appealing. I am interested in Business, Marketing or Psychology degree programs.
I have lived and traveled abroad in both Samoa and Germany for extended periods of time. These experiences have taught me to be very flexible, self-reliant and open to experiencing many different cultures and environments.
