Hi, my name is Sean Tracy and I am currently an 8th grader but I want to get a head start on learning about the opportunities that are available to me to be able to swim in college. My love of swimming started at an early age and I joined my first swim team at 7. I swim year round on my USA club team (NJST) and plan to swim at my high school (Ralston Valley) next year. I have just discovered my love of distance events and qualified for the State meet in the mile after only swimming it twice. I also have a strength in breaststroke especially the 200. I think this shows that I am not scared of a challenge and that I am willing to work hard to help my team. I also think it is important to be a good teammate, I love relays because you get to swim in an event with your friends and I think it helps team building. Outside of the pool, I am a certified scuba diver and am part of the National Junior Honor Society. I also plan to try an open water swimming meet this summer.
