December 2014Personal Statement
Hi! My name is Jay Wellman and I am a class of 2015 swimmer. I have been swimming competitively since I was 8 years old and began swimming year round at Dynamo Swim Club when I was 10 years old. Also, as a rising senior, I have been apart of Alpharetta High School's varsity swim team all three years and soon to make a fourth. My collegiate goals include training and studying as hard as I can to become the best college athlete I can be. My characteristics that I believe make me a valuable swimmer is my encouragement to my fellow swimmers as well as my driving will to succeed in both the pool and in the classroom.
