2016 HighlightsPersonal Statement
Since the beginning of my swimming career, I have enjoyed every moment of being in the water. The team atmosphere, the races, and the practices. Throughout my career of swimming, I have learned how to deal with time management of sports and academics. Each season I get better with controlling my schedule as I am able to keep up with my high school workload as well as maintaining a GPA above 3.5 each year.
Some awards I have received over my high school career are attaining my Eagle Scout, participating in the Mentors against Violence Protection program, qualifying for state in all four events my Freshman, Sophomore, and Junior years, receiving the MVP of my high school team in the year of 2015, and my most favorite, becoming team Captain.
I want to go to a college where I am pushed in both academics as well as athletics. During my time in college, I am looking to be a leader on my team, continue to improve my swimming, and to maintain a GPA of 3.5+. I am open to any options in the fields of Business as well as Science, and a school that is competitive in sports.
