Sam Pendlebury '18 Recruiting Profile

    I'm Student athlete dedicated to being the best I can in every field of Life. I try to make every team I'm on better by setting a personal example of hard work and love for the sport. My goal is to build my team up and learn from my fellow athletes to become the best I can become. I show up to every practice I can and never make excuses. I also make it to point to rush straight from school to practice everyday so I can have time to make sure I can be the best I can that day and that I'm prepared for practice. Coaches will find that I always give my best in a race and you can never count me out in the final lap. Pressure is my favorite tool for success and I like to think I thrive in it, in other words you can count on me to be the better than I am in big meets.

    In my time as a competitive swimmer I've swam under several incredibly different coaches and have been able to thrive under all of them. Swimming is a major part of my life and I am willing to take any advice Coaches offer me in an effort to be a better swimmer.  I would take an opportunity to swim for a college swim team as a way to build myself as both an athlete and a person.
