Personal Statement
I started to become serious about swimming when my family moved to Iowa in 7th grade. I want to swim in college to push myself physically and academically. The structure and discipline of swimming helps me maintain focus on my academics now and I believe will be beneficial to help maintain focus when entering college. I am looking forward to the challenge of collegiate swimming to help me become the best swimmer I can possibly be.
