My name is Jonathan McKeough JR. I am a Junior at Catholic High in Baton Rouge, LA. I currently swim for both our high school varsity team and independently for Tiger Aquatics.
Upon graduation from high school, I strive to attend a college that not only excels in academics, but also has a high-level competitive swim team. I realize the importance of focusing on academics so that I can become a student at a college that will meet my goals for success in life. During the school year, I carefully divide my time between school and swimming working hard to fulfill my obligations as both a student and an athlete.
I fully participate in school currently I am a member of Student Ministry, Student Council and the Student Ambassador clubs.
I plan on pursuing a degree in management with an emphasis on sports.
I am a dedicated athlete evidenced by attending daily swim practices generally before and after school and on weekends. I maintain my practices year round in order to be prepared for meets, stay physically fit and be the best that I can be. I am proud of my accomplishments and I am currently the 15-16 yr. old Louisiana State Champion in the 100 yd. Breaststroke, member of the 15-16 yr old 200 medley and the 200 yd freestyle relay State record team and a 3 year varsity letterman. My strengths are in the 100 and 200 breast as well as the 200 and 400 I.M.
