Hello, thank you for taking time to look at my profile. I have graduated my Senior year at Opelousas High School and carried a 4 year letterman in swimming, the four years I attended I have been the team Captain, and one of the founders of our team. I am a competitive year round swimmer, that started in April of 2013. I found swimming after a concussion landed me in ICU and out of all contact sports, but I do believe there is reasoning in everything and that swimming was brought to me for a reason. I have been on the All District team all 4 years finishing 1st in the 50free, 100fly, 200free, and 500free at District Championships, and also the All League team my sophomore and senior years. My freshman and sophomore years I was a finalist in the 200free, 500free, and 100fly at the LHSAA Division II State Swim meet, and in my senior year I took home the LHSAA Division 2 State Championship in the 100freestyle and third place in the 100backstroke. I currently train 6 days a week with a former Auburn swimmer, and a team of successful and competitive teammates that are my family. I am an honor roll student and a hard worker. I believe in dedication and honor, and was raised on the motto, "winning is everything, failure is not an option"! I have a strong personality and feel I am very outgoing. I truly believe I was meant to be swimmer and I know I will continue to be successful in swimming. I can be an asset on any team, from cheering on teammates, to helping each other mentally and physically, to being that dedicated, hard working, award winning swimmer that a team wants.
