Personal Statement
I'm always striving to improve myself intellectually and in the water, the next step for me in these realms is collegiate swimming. Swimming and school are the two halves of my existence. On the frontier of swimming I compete for three teams and coach a local summer team. I also volunteer for the Special Olympic swim team at the local YMCA. My life from the school perspective is one of dedication. I am a member of the class and school student government. The National Honor Society and environment club are also school groups in which I participate. Being able to further myself in swimming and academics is the dream for after graduation.
