William Raynor '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Will Raynor and I am 6'3" and 175 lbs. In trying to choose a college, I am looking to swim at a nationally competitive program while getting a great education. My goal is to swim at the Olympic Trials here in Omaha. I come from a family of swimmers. My dad swam for the University of Nebraska and my uncle swam for Tennessee. Currently, my sister is swimming for Xavier University.. I am the 2011 State Champion in the 200IM and the State Record holder in the 100 back ( All American times in both events). I qualified for A finals at Junior Nationals this summer and earned a National cut in the 100 back.    Academically, I attend Creighton Prep High School where I have a 3.75 GPA and I am taking Honors and AP classes this year. I am looking for a well rounded education that will give me options for the future. Athletically, I am planning to continue to improve and I look forward to competing against the best swimmers in the country. I understand that the combination of swimming at a high level while obtaining a college education is a difficult task; I welcome the challenge and look forward to continuing to excel. Thank you
