I started competitive swimming when I was 8 years old and haven't looked back since then. My passion for swimming became my own at the age of 10 when I saw the hours of practice translating into shaving seconds off my times. As I continued swimming, I realized the influence I can have both inside and outside the water in terms of leadership; I will be guiding my school team this year. I hope to swim in college because I want to compete with other fast swimmers so that I can improve and push myself beyond my limits. I hope to compete at the NCAA championships so that I can race other amazing swimmer from all over the United States.
