Nicholas Yodonis '12 Recruiting Profile

After much consideration, since I have only been swimming year round for two and a half years now, I am attending the local community college this year, but I will continue swimming at the Ocean County YMCA.  I am not competing at the collegiate level, so I will not use any eligibility.  I am using this year to mature as a swimmer and as a student.  I am planning to attend a 4 year college in the fall of 2013.  I have qualified for YMCA Nationals 4 times so far.  (short course and long course)  During my high school career I swam int the state finals three times.  I set multiple team records at the high school and YMCA.  I can offer the college team that I swim for leadership, dedication, and hard work.  It is my intent to swim in college and become the best swimmer I can be.  I love a great challenge and would love to be able to compete at the highest level of competition, making me a better swimmer and pushing myself as far as I know I can go. My desired major is not totally decided yet, but it is between accounting and engineering.  My GPA after completing the fall sememster at the local community college is a 3.8.  I look forward to maintaining the same high academic standards wherever I end up continuing my college education.
