I have been swimming on a club team, the Delmar Dolfins, for nine years now and have loved every second. I am hardworking and am always looking for ways to improve my technique, my endurance, and how I mentally prepare for races. I am often trying out new ways to swim and am constantly searching for the stroke that works best for me. This often takes place at the end of practice when I feel the water really well, and it gives me a sense of satisfaction to be the last one out of the pool everyday. My goal for college swimming is to reach levels of competition I never achieved before, and am looking forward to the improvement weight training and dry-land can provide. My major achievements so far have been placing in the final heat at Speedos in the 200 IM, winning Sectionals in the 100 BR, and being .86 seconds away from a Junior cut in the 100 BA. My intended majors are fields branching off of either biology or engineering. I am excited and looking forward to the opportunities college swimming can provide.
