Personal Statement
Hi my name is Zane Elsisi, I am a hardworking and responsible student who aspires to be the best I can be and I strive for greatness. I have been swimming for many years now and was also the captain of my high schools varsity team junior year as well as I probably will be the following year. I love the sport and am willing to give my all to it and I would love to compete at a higher level and join a college that is also as competitive as I am. I hope to one day be a swimmer that others can look up to and achieve times that others would think we're impossible of me and prove them wrong. I believe I can be an asset to any team not just because of my times but also I have been told by many teachers and coaches that I am a leader and can bring people together and motivate others which I believe can help bring any team closer to eachother and their goals. I have very strong work ethics and I believe that I can better no matter how fast I am and my determination is always at 110%. Academics are very important to me as well and in the future I would like to go into the medical field or into biology as possible majors. I think that my grades show that I don't give up easy when faced with hard problems and it showes that I can power through in times of struggle.
