I am looking forward to a career in the nursing profession. My life has lead me in this direction and I am enthusiastic about beginning college and the path for my future. I started on the swim team in 10th grade after I broke my arm and had to give up football that season. It was a perfect fit for me, I have always loved to swim and be in the water. I gave more than 100% at every practice to make up for my late start. I caught up to my teammates and have continued giving more than 100%. I am extremely determined to do the best I can in school and in swimming. I never give up and when pushed to give more I always rise to the occasion. I have always been told that I seem older than I am because I have always been very reliable. I have been working since I was 12, mowing lawns and whatever I could to make money. I got my first real job at age 14 and never missed a day of work. I am always at swim practice and my teammates can always count on me. I know my team is only as strong as the weakest member and I do my best to not only be a strong member but to encourage my teammates as well.
