Jerrad Perez-Duncan '19 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jerrad Perez-Duncan.  I am seventeen years old and currently a Junior at Hillsboro on line Academy .  I have been a competitive swimmer for nine years.  During this time I have been an Oregon State Champion nine times and an Oregon "Top Five" swimmer for the past nine years in a row.  I am part of a relay team (Hillsboro Heat) that set five new Oregon State relay records in 2017.  

I competed in High School 2016. I won High School State Championships as a freshman (100 breaststroke 1.01.24) and I set four new North Bend High School records in swimming (100 Fly, 100 Back, 100 Breast, 400 Free Relay).  I am swimming for Hillsboro HEAT swim team and qualified for the 2016 and 2017 USA Winter Jr. National Championships.  This year at Jr Nationals, I competed in three individual events and four relays   I will be competing at Senior Sectionals in Federal Way this March.  My goal is to make finals in all of my events.

My long term goals include becoming a College student athlete, making several Olympic trial times, and completing my education.  I am interested in Administration of Justice and Public Service Management.  I feel my dedication to swimming, my experience competing at a National level, and dedication to education would be an asset.  I am confident I would be able to contribute to any college.  I am looking forward to the "next level" of competition and education.
