Austin D'Angelo '16 Recruiting Profile

I am a varsity swimmer for the past 3 years. District swimmer 2013/2014 and 2014/15 season. In the 2014/15' season, I swam 200 Free Relay,  200 Medley Relay and 100 Breaststroke . The Medley time was 1:38.28 with my split of 27.72; 200 Free Relay 1:36.28 and my split was 23.71.  My individual events, 100 Breast 1:01:03 and 200 IM 2:03.97. We broke the school pool record for Medley Relay with a time of 1:38.30, my split time of 27:40. My goals for college will be to break a 58:00 for Breaststroke and aggressively move my 200 IM to 1:57.00. I was assistant captain last year and won the Plumbers award Sophomore year, which is the most improved underclassmen.
My interest include health science/ sports management.  My current GPA is 80.7 and Honor roll for my past 3 years. I have been life guarding for 3 summers and have had many classes of advanced aquatics and first aid. Health and sports is my passion and hope to make this a career. I am a very hard working, well rounded and personable individual. I can rally my team to push themselves and reach high goals. My other team mates look up to me and value my opinion. I want to learn and improve my skills both as a swimmer and a mentor.  I strive to be the best I can both in and out of the pool.
