Personal Statement
I have been swimming for the past five years and I have always loved it. Swimming is the highlight of my day. It has been a goal of mine to swim in college.
I am a very competitive swimmer who is willing to do anything if it makes me a better swimmer. I strive to improve every day in and out of the water. I always listen intently to my coaches. I am going to be one of the hardest working prospects you’ll find.
I study hard and always pay attention in all of my classes. I take challenging classes so that I will be well prepared for college.
In addition to swimming and school I am a Boy Scout. Boy Scouts is very important to me. It has taught me to be a leader and how to work as part of a team. I am on my way to being an Eagle Scout.
For me, college is where I can push myself in the pool and the classroom. I am a realistic person therefore I am open to all options and ultimately would like to compete at the highest level possible. I hope I can help improve your team by being the best athlete I can be and by pushing everybody around me to be their best.
