Swimming has always been more than a hobby; it’s a life style. I swim because the competition never ends and I find myself always wanting to challenge myself and my teammates. One of the many things I enjoy as a swimmer is the push in the pool from my fellow team mates during practice. From high school to club swim the people are all amazing, supportive, and competitive. Over the 6 years of my swimming career I have met and made new friends all across Virginia and I want to able to go to college and continue to compete and meet new people who can inspire me to become a better swimmer. My love for swimming, for competition and for the opportunity to develop lifelong friend ships motivates me to pursue swimming at the college level.

I am looking for college that will help me grow as an athlete and that will also offer educational opportunities in the fields of biology and the possibility of a premed program. With my current swim and school schedules I have learned to organize my daily schedule and manage my time effectively. I believe I will not struggle with balancing a life of athletics and academics. I am willing to put my all into school and swim and challenge myself. I look forward to finding the college that will provide me with the opportunity to excel in my next stage as an athlete and student.
