Personal Statement
I embrace being Team Captain and lead by example and though full inclusion of all my JV and Varsity teammates in the fun and comradery of the Cedarburg High School Swim Program. This season I have achieved my first goal, to be a North Shore Conference Champion. Cedarburg HS won the Conference Meet and I was able to win both the 50 Free and 100 Free along with winning the 200 and 400 Freestyle Relays with my teammates. Next I am expecting a great showing at Sectionals and State, the weekends of February 15th and 22nd. After high-school I intend to attend a four-year college, and settle into a field I enjoy. Through life-guarding and volunteer work, I've learned I enjoy working with kids and my natural ability to connect with them is leading me toward Education as a career, perhaps combining that with my interests in Environmental Studies and sustainability of our natural resources.
