Personal Statement

 

I am a full time college student at UW-Green Bay.  I currently live at home to save money.  I continue to train daily with Door County Swim Team and drive almost 2 hours daily to train.  I continue to have a passion to compete and I am hoping to find a college fit that suits me well.  I am a very competitive person in and out of the pool!  I work very hard every day and always try to be nice to my fellow swimmers.  My mother has taught me the importance of making wise choices every day.  I am very confident of my abilities in school and in the pool but I feel it is important to be humble.  I have qualified and competed at YMCA Nationals since I was in 7th grade.  I have made it to finals on several occasions both individually and on relays.  I am very comfortable with prelim/final format meets.  I hope to receive a scholarship to a good school that I find a good fit.  Thank you for your time.
