Personal Statement
I have a passion for swimming. It is what I love to do. I am an amazing hard worker, good teammate, and I am always seeking help and advice to make me a faster swimmer. I am easy to coach, listen well, and I will always try my hardest no matter what the circumstance. Under-waters have become my focus, and I plan on working on them towards perfection. Also, I absolutely hate losing, and I will do whatever it takes to end up on top, even it it takes me a little longer than most people. One of my ultimate goals in swimming is to get the chance to compete at Olympic Trials, and with the large amounts of improvement I have experienced this past season, this dream is becoming very achievable. Although swimming is my passion, academics always come first. I love learning, and education is the primary driving force in my life. I am one of the most determined, driven, and motivated high school students out there, and no matter how long it takes me to understand something, I will persevere until I accomplish whatever it is I am striving for.
