Personal Statement
I am passionate about tennis and very much interested in playing at a college level. I know that I would be an asset to any team. I demonstrate strong leadership abilities. My USTA coach, Mark Dayton, states that I am a "leader among men". I excel as a double player. I have the ability to lead, motivate and encourage my team mate, even when we are behind in points. I strongly believe that a tennis player must remain mentally strong as well as physically strong. My leadership ability is proven in the fact that this fall session, I will be coaching my own 18 and under USTA Jr. Tennis team under the mentorship of the head coach. I also believe that my proven record of 18 wins/ 2 losses for the 2013 season is a testimony to my value to a team.
