Personal Statement

I have been playing tennis for almost 10 years. I am 6'1" and 125 lbs. I have always been considered a very hard hitting, hard working and aggressive player. Tennisrecruiting.net has me ranked 702 in CA for the class of 2016 and a 2 star Southern California I am ranked 84. I attend Rancho Bernardo High School and have been on the varsity tennis team since my freshman year. My GPA at this time is 3.0. During my high school career I have won numerous tournaments, ( MVP 2013, All-Conference,  2014 Conference Champs, Sectional Champs, Regional 2nd place, and MVP) 2015 yet to be determined!

 

I have a passion for tennis that I would love take with me to college. Because of my year round tennis training and rigorous academic schedule, I have learned to be very disciplined and conscientious of my time.

 

My parents have told me that a scholarship would help them financially but, more importantly, want me to find the right "fit". As my major will be in Psychology, I am looking colleges with that degree. I what to  have a strong academic program, opportunities for community service and, of course, a men’s tennis team where I could be a dedicated, contributing member.
