Ask any of my peers, and they will all tell you my best trait is my individual motivation to improve. Whether it be tennis or in class, I am always striving to better myself. Throughout my high school experience I have been independent in my studies in pursuing honors and AP level classes and National Honor Society, and also motivated to go out and play as much as possible to improve my game. My recent experience as team captain has also made me realize the importance of helping your fellow players in their tennis and studies, and helped me develop leadership skills.
In tennis I have gained plenty of experience on my High School team and in USTA tournaments making me comfortable in many positions and play styles. I am coming up on my fourth year on Silver Creek's varsity team with three year singles experience, two of them at number 1 singles, one year at doubles, and two years as team captain. I've also amounted over 5 years of doubles and singles in experience in USTA tournaments as well. Through all of this I have discovered my true passion for tennis that I would love to have the opportunity to continue along with my studies in college
My main priority is my academics, and I hope to find a school that will challenge me in my studies, with the added possibility of continuing my tennis. I know that wherever I go my work ethic will allow me to help any team, as well as help me succeed in the classroom.
