Fernando Bauermeister '22 Recruiting Profile

I am a student of the game.  I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to train with Coach Steve Smith and Coach Roberto Calla.  They’ve taught me a lot from their own experiences with the late Vic Braden and many other players and coaches.  

From charting matches, strategy and tactics, the mental aspect of the game to how to compete even when things are not going my way. 

I consider myself an all-court player, with a combination of power and finesse , who can compete in both singles and doubles. 

I like moving forward and ending points at the net.  I’ve been working on a variety of shots so that I have the tools necessary to compete against different types of players. 

As you already know, developing all these skills takes time….but I started at an early age and I have been working hard to improve every single day.
