My goals are to apply myself both academically and athletically. I wish to graduate college with a Bachelor's Degree in the medical field. I feel I would make a perfect fit for your team because I have a very strong work ethic and I am satisfied with nothing less than perfection and putting 100% effort into everything. My Freshman year I did not take it seriously how important it was to put my best effort into school, however, I have turned that around and worked my way up so this year I will be taking both Honors and Dual Enrollment classes. I now make it my goal to provide nothing but my best effort. My character is very hardworking and cheerful. I am supportive of my teammates during high school matches and encourage my doubles partner. Athletically I strive to be better than I was the day before.
My tennis highlights are I play left-handed but am a natural right hander. I am 6’2” tall and have a strong kick, slice and flat serve and hit a two-handed backhand as well as a driving slice which I am working hard on. My short-term goals are to improve my volley and shorten points as an attacking player supporting my desire to become a dominant doubles player as well.
My personal life also includes volunteering, attending church and family time. I also enjoy spending time playing with our dogs, swimming and jogging. I have been involved with the school band, Key club, chorus, basketball and I was a soccer player for 8 years until the 8th grade and when the team split, I decided to try tennis and have found it to be my passion. I am currently playing as many USTA tournaments, and when a tournament is available, I play with other competitors to continue to grow my tennis experience.
