rodney atwaters '10 Recruiting Profile

Well my name is Rodney Atwaters. I AM 5'9', 140 pounds. Last time i ran the 40 yard dash was in 11th grade and my recorded time was 4.51. I have been playing tennis since I was in the 5th grade so i have 8 years of experience now. My freshmen year i finished up the season at #2 singles. I pretty much ended up playing that spot until my recent graduation this past may. My 11th and 12th grade year I was captain. I helped my team go to the elite 8 in state for three years and then my senior year we finished up #3 in the state of ga. I am a very good player as far as coaching goes. I am a self-motivated person i work hard to push myself to be the best i can be on and off the court. I don't mind doing whatever it takes to get other people to push themselves too. I try my best to do everything my coach wants out of me. I don't get down on myself when coaches pick out my faults i just leave everything on the court. Win or lose i make sure that I played up to my full potential. I am currently playing for a college as of right now but it doesn't offer my major I want to major pre-med/biology but it was suppose to be here this year so if they don't have it by next year then i have to transfer. Right now my scholarship is based around Financial Aid and Athletic scholarships and Academic scholarships because i make good grades. I would love to play some of the best people in the country and compete in high levels of competition to see if i'm able to be the best. Because my dad always told me that to be the best you have to beat the best and in order to beat the best you have Compete at your best..so i play with my heart and ALWAYS leaves everything on the court. I am not to particular about where i play as long as I play somewhere where i can be able to compete. But i like the college i go to now but it doesn't seem like none of my teammates share my same passion... So i would love to play for a team where THE love of the game is appreciated...
