At Madison County, I have learned three things, mountains, teamwork, and work ethic. I started playing in 6th grade. I was not planning on playing where I am now, I originally wanted to play baseball. I started to play very well and decided to stick with it. My teamwork came then, I learned I had to push my team to play better and get where we needed. Our team worked together and went undefeated to win regions.
I learned about mountains and work ethic in high school. I had an awful wrist injury that hurt me when I played. I had to overcome those mountains of pain to win my matches. At practices I put in as much work I could to play the best I could. My wrist is fine now and I have been driven every day to get better and do anything for my future college. Those three things are why I would be a good fit for college tennis.
