Personal Statement
It has been a dream of mine to play tennis in college since I picked up the sport when I was 12. I would be a valuable addition to any team because I am hardworking, a great leader, and always have motivation to get better and to win. Being at the varsity #1 spot since my freshman year on my high school team, I was immediately thrown into a leadership role, and it has been nothing but the best for me, as I have gained experience as a leader, a player, and a teammate.
I am also an excellent student, as I have a 4.0 GPA and am ranked in the top 1% in my class. I take academics very seriously, taking many AP and honors classes, but also make time for tennis, soccer, and music, with which I am involved in my schools concert choir and chamber choir, "Trutones".
