Personal Statement
I am a good hearted person that wants the best for my family, team and myself. I only started tennis during the summer between my 8th grade and 9th grade years. By the end of my sophomore year, I was the youngest District Singles Champion in my school history. I worked hard to transform my physical health by moving from a discus thrower to a tennis player. I work every day, even when I don't feel the best, I am exercising somehow. I am very coachable and I want to get better. I want to compete well and play some serious tennis. I want to help my family pay for my college by getting scholarships. My academic goal is to get a degree in the science field. I have thought about a number of different areas like Marine, Nano and Forensics and I am still trying to figure that out. I feel like I make great choices while I have been in High School and I don't put myself in a position to get in trouble. I work at Hy-Vee, mainly on the weekends, to save up for college.
