Personal Statement
Tennis has been my sport and for as long as I can remember, I've always wished to play on a professional level. The steps I've taken towards furthering my tennis career have been numerous as well as strenuous but I still love to play. The reason I play tennis though, is not to purely win or beat an opponent, its really to learn new ways to play and enjoy the competition. I've learned so much from other players and I know I taught just as much. I love to play and get better, but when the game becomes too serious, I know I've lost. I play to get better and to enjoy the game, so if I don't walk away from a match without a smile, I know I've lost.
