Personal Statement
Hello my name is Brock Belcher, as you probably already know I am from the small town of Helena Montana. I am a senior at Capital High School and have been on the varsity tennis team since I was a freshman. My uncle, Andy Jansen is a tennis pro for a club out in Everett Washington, Harbor Square. He is the person who got me into tennis, I started playing my freshman year and picked up the game very quickly. And thank god I did, I can't think what my life would be like without it. Never when I started tennis did I think I would want to go to college for it, but now I don't know what else I would do.
When I was in the second grade I was diagnosed with Dyslexia. If you'r not familiar with it, it is a learning disability that has effected my life like you wouldn't know. I basically have to work twice as hard as everyone else does. I have learned to not just sit around and feel sorry for myself, I get on all of my work and do it to the best of my ability. I have been able to maintain mostly A's and B's through high school and have a GPA of 3.4. I will never give up no matter the circumstances I will grind out until I can't anymore. Also I am involved in my schools DECA club and ECO club where I am the president of both.
