I am a 2015 graduate that plays for the Darling Tennis Academy in Las Vegas, Nevada under my coach Wes Hancock, and a member of the Choctaw Indian Nation. I am looking for a strong university in both academics and tennis. My best strengths on the court are my speed and agility, my serve, and I have an all court game while my weakness is my return game, which I work on everyday to become a more complete person and player. My training schedule includes daily practice, with match play, and one on one skills. I also make sure I round off my ability with strength and agility training, at least every other day if not more. My coaches acknowledge that the extra hours and effort I put in to attain my dreams on and off the court is what makes me successful. While my life and heart are on the tennis court, I am more than aware that these things must be balanced by a great education, which I have pushed myself in the classroom, also taking honors courses and duel credit classes to prepare me for the rigors I will be facing at a university, especially in the field of Sports Medicine/Kinesiology. I have been able to balance my practice, my fitness schedule, my classroom work, and my friends and family, while keeping up a rigorous travel schedule.
I also believe in giving back, so I have championed myself to make sure I have volunteered throughout my young career, helping others especially those that are not as fortunate, it is very fulfilling to me. I have gained these attributes from my own desires of what success is in life, and by attending many leadership camps and forums. I believe that operating at a higher level is the difference between success and failure.
