In the boys 14's singles in the USTA tournaments last summer, I made it into the top 80 in New England and I was the number one seed my Freshman year on my high school team this year. I work very hard on the ocurt and also off the court and I am extrememly competitive. I hate it during drills in practice if I am not the best at it. I was the first one on the court at quite a number of practices last year where I trained at and always the last person to leave. If I had to pick one school to go to, it would be the University of Southern California. Because they are the number one ranked school in the country for Division I and it is a fantastic school to go to. Also it is in Southern California and I have always liked the heat and have always loved California. When I grow up I am moving out to California. I am looking for a Division I school, specifically on the west coast that has also a good academic level. My desired majors are sports management, specifically tennis, sports psychology, or physchology. Hopefully being able to play on a Division I or Divsion II team and be in the top five on the team. One other thing about me is that I have been training at a tennis academy in Massachusetts called MAC Tennis Academy. It is probably the best tennis academy in New England and also the Bollettieri Tennis Academy is one of their affiliates. There are over five number one ranked kids in New England that train at MAC. Late last year we had a girl who won the Junior Orange Bowl for the girls 12 singles. The director of tennis Francisco Montoya coached and ran the tennis program at the Bollettieri Academy in Bradenton, Florida for 10 years before coming to MAC. Also the manager of the Mac Tennis academy Celeste Frey was a top NCAA player who was ranked 6th in the country for singles and 3rd for doubles. Francisco and Celeste are both my main coaches.
