I have been playing tennis since I was five years old and have constantly wanted to push myself forward to the next level. Playing at the college level is the next step I can take that will greatly benefit my career. It is an amazing opportunity that will leave a lasting impact on me. Tennis is my passion and playing for college would be a dream come true.
As of right now, I am working on a multitude of things within my game. In bettering my strokes and improving my mental game, I am confident that I will be able to rise in the rankings. By the end of the year, I want to see myself ranked top 50 in the nation, and top 10 in my section. On the court, I listen well and work extremely hard to improve the level I am at.
Although tennis is essential in my life, school is very important for me. Each day, aside from my tennis, I come home and study everything we did in school that day, so that I can be on top of whatever material I am covering. I go to one of the best public schools in New York City and still maintain a high GPA.
Looking toward the future, I would like to attend a college where I can mature as a player and a student. Personally, I would like to attend a highly academic and athletic school. Ultimately, I would like to find the best college for myself, where I can lay my foundation. College should be an amazing experience and I hope that I will be able to have one.
