Personal Statement
I am a dedicated sportsman. Over 10 years of participation in our Track & Field team in Germany don't only give me a good knowledge of technique, but I have also coached younger athletes, too. I have had an official seminar/training for coaching and my achievements on Track meets are way above average. Although I didn't have my late results (I have all my documentation back in Germany), I have provided this website with some of my older results that can show you how much potential I had at that time and still have. Recently, I haven't had time to go to practice (which has only happened to me once in over 10 years), but as soon as I recommence training, my performance will increase rapidly to meet my full potential. I hope that you will consider me for your team because I am a very dedicated sportsman who always puts the team first. I have a good sense for sportsmanship, and my academics are good, too. I came to America just for the experience, and I will probably return to Germany after this school year, but I hope to go to college in America. Although my current grades don't count in America, I have a 4.2 weighted (3.92 unweighted) GPA which shows you that I am also a dedicated and academically good student.
