Personal Statement
Hi, im Tanner Hagstrom i am 17 years old and a junior that goes to North Canyon High school. I Perform academically here and athletically, I run varsity track under my coach Airabin Justin. I have been improving my GPA recently and is getting A's and B's all year round now. Im a member of student government and i do the announcements every morning for the school. I also played football up to sophomore year along with track. I also was a member for FBLA for my sophomore year and did attend debate and conferences. Some of my goals are to be at 48 seconds in my 400 meter by the end of my high school career and in my 800 meter running a 1:54 for my senior year. As my junior year is concluding my big goal at state is to run a 1:57 or 1:56 in my 800 meter. I think I'm a good candidate for a team because, I'm a flexible sprinter and mid distance runner, I can also run the 4x400 meter, 4x200 meter and 4x100 meter. I think I'm a good candidate because I have been told by my coach that I'm a team player, and I'm a lively person to have on the team. I thinkIi also have great leadership, being a member of FBLA, Student government and having a job at Home Depot now for almost a year and a half I can apply my self in most situations. I was appointed towards my Coach from my older sister who went to Mountain Ridge High school When coach Airabin was there and she recommended him and I joined his club team, Team Showtyme which a club team that performs in the indoor season of college
