My name is Tripp Risley and I attend Pocahontas High School in Pocahontas, Arkansas. I'm a multi-sport athlete, playing football, basketball, and running track. My goal is to go be a dual sport athlete by playing football and running track if possible, but if not I want to run track. However I also want to educate myself so that I can support a family when I get out of college. The best quality that I have is heart. I do not have to be motivated to work hard, whether it's in the classroom or in sports, because I want to be the best at everything that I do. I may not always be the most talented or most athletic, but I always attempt to put forth my best effort, striving to compete against myself to perform in all situations I face. I push myself to the max because I want to be great. I also don't want to let anyone down. Letting someone else down hurts me worse than letting myself down, whether its a coach or teacher, and if I do let someone down I fight to get that trust back and I make sure not to make the same mistake again. In my opinion, if I can trust someone to have my back, and they trust me to have theirs, great things get done. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
