Hello, my name is Vincent Bai and I am currently a junior at Arcadia High School. I have been running track for quite some time now, having attended several track meets in middle school and been a part of AHS Track since freshman year. Track and field has undoubtedly become a significant part of my life.
This recent 2013 season has been my best season yet, having run 10.86aw in the 100m and 22.29a in the 200m. I also run 2nd leg for our 4x100m relay (43.86) and 1st leg for our 4x400m relay (3:23). I made CIF-SS Division 1 Prelims for the 100m, 200m and 4x400m relay and advanced as 1st alternate in the 100m at CIF-SS Divisional Finals.
Academically, I currently have an unweighted GPA of 3.76. I enjoy challenging myself academically and have taken AP courses for Biology, Calculus AB, and English Language, and an honor course for Chemistry. I plan on taking four more AP classes next year, including Physics C, Calculus BC, English Literature, and Comparative Government. I have also been a part of Orchestra for 3 consecutive years and was section leader of Violin 2 in my sophomore year. This year, I was elected to be a part of our school's Associated Student Body's Junior Council and have also been elected to be a part of Senior Council next year.
I plan on attending a college that can allow me to receive a good education while also allowing me to compete athletically in Track in the future.
